Designed as an introduction for ALL health professionals who wish to become involved in treating Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), with an emphasis on keeping the learning Super Simple!

1. Identify signs and symptoms in your patients

2. Understand Sleep Related Breathing Disorders and how OSA impacts people’s health

3. Understand TMD & OSA Diagnosis and treatment options

   • When to treat, and when to refer

   • Who to refer to and working with other Allied Health Professionals

   • Introduction to Sleep Studies

4. Identify and manage chronic pain patients

5. How to distinguish between TMD muscle disorders vs intracapsular disorders

6. How to assess the case difficulty

7. Discussing the basics of common splint designs including:

   • Flat-plane splints

   • Anterior deprogrammers

   • Mandibular Advancement Splints (MAS)
